The size and scale of this storm front was second to none, stretching 500km inland and producing winds of up to 130km per hour.

It caused havoc in Melbourne first with 20’000 power outages, and then commenced its 18hr mission up the coast. After evacuating beaches across Sydney, the front reached Port Macquarie by nightfall, where Tacking Point Lighthouse waited in its path.
